The Olde Philadelphia Company, now owned and operated by two entrepreneurs born and raised in Philadelphia, have re- revolutionized the Gourmet Soda category. The brands new ownership group, Olde Philadelphia Soda Company LLC, saw an opportunity to help improve the brands great flavors and expand its distribution throughout the market place.

Olde Philadelphia Gourmet Soda has always had a small presence in the Philadelphia region. In March of 2010, the company began reformulating all of their flavors. The most important change was eliminating the high fructose corn syrup and sweetening their soda with pure cane sugar. Their diet flavors are sweetened with Splenda. Once satisfied with their new and improved flavors, brand identity and new packaging became a focus. While keeping the Liberty Bell as its focal point on the bottle, the new packaging is modern, colorful and portrays a feel of the past. It brings you back to your childhood when you were enjoying an Old Fashioned root beer or an orange cream cycle on a warm summer day. The vanilla cream is rich in flavor compared to a vanilla shake and the black cherry whishniak is an all- time Philadelphia favorite.

In April 2011, the Olde Philadelphia Soda Company launched their new brand to the marketplace. In addition to their existing lineup, they added two new flavors: a red birch beer and a diet black cherry. They are now producing nine great flavors and working to develop more in the near future. The ownership group is proud and excited about the future of the company. Their soda is rich and tasty and can be enjoyed with all of the Philadelphia classics such as a soft pretzel, premium hoagie or sandwich, ice cream or a true Philadelphia cheesesteak. Treat yourself , you will not be disappointed!!
